The mast with a view is a minor intervention in the landscape. It is located in Libčice nad Vltavou, on the site of the future park Na Cihelce. It is an initiation point, an intervention to build activity and raise the significance of the place, the first construction project in an area that is to be transformed from a neglected place into a park in the future. The inspiration came from the fame of the brickmakers of Libčice who, in addition to brick production, specialised in the construction of factory chimneys, of which they built more than 1,000 in Bohemia.

The mast bears the flag of the town and its shape is related to the chimneys of Libčice. It is located on an elevated spot in the heart of the future park and thus becomes its landmark and meeting place. It can be seen from the surrounding area and offers an exceptional view of the city and the Větrušická gorge on the opposite bank of the Vltava River. The construction of the mast combines an inner steel structure and an outer wooden shell, both parts interacting statically. The steel structure consists of a central tube, a flag extension, stair treads, a platform and a foundation hoop. The shaping of the wooden structure is inspired by the format of the brick bond, the larch cladding consists of 16 vertical prisms and 168 horizontal crossbars. The total height of the building is 7.9 m.
